The Personality Quiz is a series of questions shown towards the beginning of the game as if it were a puzzle. It has no wrong answers and no bearing on the rest of the game as far as we can tell.

The Nature of the Puzzle

This isn’t really a puzzle, it’s a personality quiz. Players can give any answer to any of the questions, they cannot be incorrect. We can’t work out why Omi keeps showing players this because we did not write any puzzles like this or train it on any personality quizzes. It must be from the SCEIWA researchers? We could not work out how to turn it off at all. In the end we decided that it was pretty cute so we could leave it in and focus our energies on other bugs. Please enjoy it!

Omi uses the text puzzle format to ask the player their name. Unlike normal text puzzle questions, you cannot give an incorrect answer. The game does not send us your name and we can’t find where (or even if) Omi stores the result. So feel free to give your real name, a nickname or a random string of characters.

Omi uses the images puzzle format to find out some of the player’s favourite things. First it asks for your favourite colour by showing nine dogs wearing party hats, each representing a colour: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, pink, white or black. Choose whichever colour is your favourite, there is no mechanical benefit to a particular colour (Omi may make a throw-away reference to it later). Then Omi asks you for your favourite animal and about weather. Again, this doesn’t impact anything later in the game.

Favourite Animal Glitch: For some reason, Omi only shows dogs for this question. We haven’t been able to track down the photos anywhere in our files or in Omi’s knowledge base and we can’t change the question text at all. Just choose any square.
